July 22, 2006 The show at Remy's was so awesome! Jason Yap of the gallery did a fine job at curating a solid show, bringing together urban contemporary artists, with "visions of the city and our links to nature through Filipino American eyes." You can see my personal pics of the Concrete Jungle Show here. I also have a new piece at showing at Tribal Cafe, for Filam Arts' group art show sponsored by the Smithsonian roughly called "The 100 Years of Filipino Migration." Coming up, I will have my work up at Goddess Nite III, a unique night of art, fashion, music, and dominance, celebrating the fearless women. and then on Saturday, there is another show in Ontario, an all women hip hop irie vibe sort of art show. That's more of my style right there =)
But let's not forget Nommo, the open mic i co-host and produce, this Friday.
